Game On!!, 146/365
Dead Space 2 has recently come out and it looks awesome! So awesome it makes me wish i’d played Dead Space 1 when I still had the chance living with Benji (who had it).
But i’m planning on trading in some games and DVDs so I can get a copy of it and then imma get my gamer geek on!!
I finished Assassins Creed Brotherhood a while ago and I need something to keep me out of trouble....
Bring it On II, 145/365
Bringing it on today was my flash.
Still getting to grips with properly using off camera flash but everyday I get better so today I brought my A-game to my flash and I wrestled it.
I’m far from an accomplished strobist yet but i’m going to keep using it untill I can be more instinctive in its use.

Bring it On, 145/365
Been working a lot more this week as Bonson is feeling a little under the weather…I haven’t been feeling much better but i’ve been doing my best to fill the gaps :)
I’ve got my day off tomorrow then i’ve got to very quickly psyche myself up for the next week as I may well be working another full week…BRING IT! (i wont be as excited by wednesday probably).

Freshly Wrapped
I promised you a photo of my new tattoo and here it is…
What? You thought I would unwrap it? Don’t be silly there’s a whole healing process to go through before it’s in a presentable state!
The photo mostly served to test out my new umbrella that I recently got to complete my strobist set-up. Considering I was forced to shoot in the hallway where there’s no room...
On a Mission from God, 143/365
Done got myself tattoo’d for the first time in aaages today and I was expecting a ‘aw, this is nice getting something new’ when instead I had a ‘ow! this still hurts! why did I think this was a good idea!’.
Obviously the tattoo came out great (my tattooist Heath rawks) and once my skin went numb it was fine :P
I’ve already been asked for pictures of it so...
Take a Stand, 142/365
Ok I had slightly bigger plans for todays shot but I got called into work at the last minute (emma was ill but so was I…not sure I was the best replacement) so I was unable to cultivate the amazing-ness I had planned (another day though).
My new light stand did get delivered to the shop today though (bought it along with an umbrella and a few other lighting bits) but without the other...
Boots and Cats, 141/365
I have quite a few new years resolutions this year only because if I don’t have goals for the year it can get pretty boring (as if this project isn’t enough of a time whore).
But one of the things i’m learning this year is how to beatbox. I’ve been practicing for a about a week and…i’m not great. I can do a bass and snare by basically saying boots and...
Derezzed
Remember all those months ago when I introduced this project to you?
The idea was to photograph people on webcam chat sites to basically create a fauz social network of these anonymous people saw fit to interact strangers but in a very strange way…in that if at any point you get bored *click*…gone. It’s a very strange graph…as social interaction increases, as does the...
Worlds BEST Trespasser, 140/365
Check me out! I actually successfully trespassed…sort of. Well basically this is a driving range just outside of my village that has serious flood lights for night time golfing which I felt I needed to take advantage of.
Once I snuck into the car park it was a case of sneaking around the side of the building to where I had a good balance of shadows and intense light and i’m rather...
Benjamin Corless- Hotwired Films pt.2
Now that i’ve got the twins shoot out of the way I concentrate on getting Benjis edited and shipped off to him.
For the moment Benjis have proved fairly simple to edit as we chose to stick with mainly a white backdrop to keep all the shots nice and uniform and also to provide a nice amount of reflection. However I am yet to tackle the mountain of pictures we shot outside, on his stairs and...
Vice Fashion- Comedy Duo Greats
Just trolling through the Vice website, which is always good for something hillarious and provocative, and I came across this photo essay of…well i’ll let you see for yourself.

Cry for Help, 139/365
In Character:
Thank goodness I found you. My name is Ciridad and i’ve come to you for help. For the past year we’ve been fighting a growing threat and we’re now looking for able swordsmen to take the fight to them for one last stand. Think you’re brave? Think you’re tough? We’ll see. All I know is we every person I can find strong enough to stand to aid our...
A Day of Twinning...if only Stephen Fry were able...
With my trip to Bristol behind me it was time to get on with some of the photoshop work I had ahead. As you remember I posted a couple of teasers from my shoot with Sarah and Rosie and although I was happy with the images it was quite clear that the cool desaturated tones I usually use weren’t going to work, so I opted for something a little brighter and…more appropriate.
Hope you...
Garage Glamour, 138/365
Yeah I can totally be sexy and glamourous even when stood in front of my garage. It’s an ability that I posses, put me anywhere and I can make it hot.
I was working on re-writing a few of my photoshop actions as my cross processed actions were coming out a little strong and I managed to cobbled this together which i’m very proud of. Very faded and retro-ish.
Anaglyphic Super Hero, 137/365
Am I entering another dimension?
No I was exposed to 3D as a child and now i’m an adult my powers have manifested and I can make things 3D!!! Like a rubbish verison of cyclops.
3D looks like it’s hear to stay so we better embrace it as it’ll be a big thing to the media in a few years. So i’m getting to grips with it now :P

Rituals of Recreation, 136/365
Got back home from Bristol last night and after a long journey was very glad eat McDonalds and just relax.
Whilst in Bristol I got the chance to witness my own exhibition which was excellent (i’ll post some photos) and they let me have one of the show posters.
It was a thrill seeing all my work printed gigantic and it never occured to me that were the only people looking around…I...
Dreamtank Week 7, 135/365
No.7 John Cage
To those who don’t know John Cage is an experimental composer most famous for scoring 4’33 which is 4 minutes 33 seconds of silence (the point being that even when no notes are played there is still sound. Breathing, you heart beating…there is no perfect silence)
I purposefully left this one till last as Benji did his dissertaiton on John Cage so I wanted to...
Dreamtank Week 6, 134/365
No.6 Where are my awesome housemates?
They’re upstairs sleeping :)
I was visiting Benji (the very chap who set me this week of images) and Fiona (and also Matt who happened to be there) in Bristol and frankly they have showed me such a good time.
I knew I wanted to do this shot whilst I was visiting but purposely waited until they had gone to bed. I may have been sleeping on the floor...
Benjamin Corless- Hotwired Films
Benjamin Corless is an excellent friend and a very talented film maker. Whilst I was visiting him in Bristol he asked me to take some portraits of him that he could use to help promote himself and his films. I was very excited at this opportunity as Benji proved to be a most excellent sitter but also it gave me a chance to work his unique production style into my images. Benji is a master of the...

Wurzels and Hooters- a bristol story...
Hello followers,
It’s been a few days since I’ve posted and even longer since I’ve given you a run down of just things that are happening around me. Well I spent the last couple of days in Bristol visiting friends and this seems like a good opportunity to get you caught up.
Like all the best road trips my reasons for visiting were two fold… 1) See Benji and Fiona...
Dreamtank Week 5, 132/365
No.5 Tiny Man
Now we’ve all seen photoshopped pictures of people looking all tiny and I do enjoy them but I wanted to do a more practical approach that focused more on the relationship this tiny man may have with people around him.
So as instructed Spadge and Rosie gave me there best ‘bitch please!’ faces whilst I pretended to be an awkward midget. I think they showed me...
An Evenings Shoot Twin-wards
Twin-wards of course refers to the direct in which they live…obviously.
In a bid to expand my portfolio and generally get used to working with people again (The A15 is a sexy road but the romance is one sided) I attended the apartment of Sarah and Rosie who very courteously allowed me to photograph them. It was a strange experience not photographing myself although I did sneak one of myself...
Dreamtank Week 4, 132/365
no.4 A certain time of day regardless of whats happening…
Well I had work today so I couldn’t take a photo ‘regardless’ of what was happening so I flipped it round and I took a photo every 15 minutes…only I wasn’t always on the stairs…
Bristol in 2 days benji :D
Dreamtank Week 3, 131/365
No.3 Sci-Fi?
Why the question mark? Well Benji speaks in questions and there was one after the word when he typed it i’m assuming wanting me to expand on it? yeah?
Anyway Benji enjoys his clever 3D so i thought i’d burden his eyes with some bad 3D.
I didn’t have the ability to accurately move the camera as I would of course be in front of it so I took the opportunity to just...
Dreamtank Week 2, 130/365
no.2 Trent Reznor
Now me and Benji are both big Nine Inch Nails fans so his next suggestion for this project was their lead singer ‘trent reznor’
There were millions of directions I could gone with this image so I decided to pay tribute to the way NIN use their stage as an instrument. During one of their tours they had this giant touch screen built where each square represented a...
Happy Birthday James Clark
Somewhere in Singapore my young, 1 year old, nephew will be enjoying his birthday party.
So happy birthday James with much love from your Uncle Batman!!…me :)
Dreamtank Week 1, 129/365
Do not adjust your set! All your base am belong to us!
Good friend and film maker Benji Corless in a bid to get me inspired and excited about this project again sent a long ole list of things I could try, this of course lead to do Dreamtank Week!
No.1… Good Camera/Low Quality
Benji is very versed in the destructive aspects of film making and image taking so I of course had to put this...
The Importance of a Crop
The same picture but with a different crop…just goes to show how much a simple decision can affect an image. It also goes to show how experimenting with the black & white filter controls can make you can look like a world weary bad ass.
Return to...128/365
This was a return to shit…not because I think the photo is terrible but because I thought i’d go back to this field today and it was full of shit.
The spot where i’m stood was the only ‘safe’ bit but it was still incredibly muddy.
Anyway enough complaining; i’m in the middle of my monthly rut again where the project is seeming hard again but if the past 128...

Tiny Rave, 127/365
I was feeling all techno today so I had a mini rave on my floor! Uhn-tis Uhn-tis Uhn-tis Uhn-tis Uhn-tis Uhn-tis!!!!
I hadn’t played with my kaossilator for a while so it took a few minutes but before long I was rocking mad phat beats and sweet lead lines on this bad boy. Boo-yah.

Logo Times...
I finally have a workable version of my logo (thank you ashley) and i’ve been experimenting with some promotional postcards. I want to try more actively to promote myself this year and advertising in bridal shops and hair dressers seems a smart place to begin. Designing these was a challenge as you of course want them to be very informative and make it easy for people to contact you but you...
